Dr. Feelgood

Dr. Feelgood smoothing balm by Benefit

No, this is not a review for a porno movie but for a product from Benefit. For those of us who do not have access to this brand, it can be purchased here: http://il.strawberrynet.com/makeup/benefit.

According to Benefit, Dr. Feelgood is a balm packed with vitamin C and should be worn on top of foundation to reduce appearance of small lined and provide mate finish. It can also be worn alone on bare skin.
The packaging is amazing, as with all Benefit products. But unfortunately, that's where it ends.
I've tried using this product in a number of ways:
1) Bare skin - it's not so easy to apply the product with the sponge attached, cause it's kind of hard and not creamy. It smells nice and it does smooth the face for a while. But I must say that the effect is not lasting.
2) Under foundation - no effect whatsoever.
3) On top of foundation (recommended by Benefit) - Oh the horror!!!! It smudged and clumped the foundation, the sponge went all dirty and gunky... No! No! No! Baaaaad!

Now, we should all remember that I'm somewhat challenged at times and I might have used the product in a wrong way. If anyone knows how to use this, please let me know. Cause it's kinda pricey and I would like to get some benefit (ironic...) out of it.
